Pakistan And The Birth Of Brands On Social Media

Pakistan is a market with great potential and smart minds. The digital natives are using their expert minds to come up with and start brands online that have become living entities in themselves.
Many brands have arisen that are now well known not only on social platforms but are the talk of the town in many social gatherings as well.
Below are some brands that have struck the chord with the Pakistani youth in terms of meshing Pakistani culture and the modern approach of today’s youth.
KarachiTips
KarachiTips was one of the first brands that actually resonated with the online audience and created a strong recall and presence online.
Their tips have been entertaining, fun and generally quite shareable.
They are present on both Facebook and Twitter.
Kachee Goliyan
Kachee Goliyan was on of the brands that came up on Facebook with its kick ass idea of reviving the comic book in Pakistan.
Not only were they successful but Facebook served as a stepping stone for them to create that popularity for their comics. The Facebook fan base not only Liked but also supported their enthusiasm and idea with online and offline presence.

Uth Oye!
One brand that gained extreme popularity for its T-Shirts was Uth Oye! They started off with sharing images of their shirts on Facebook and encouraging people to purchase them. The brand had a unique concept that resonated with the Pakistani youth. Merging culture and the west, Uth Oye! established a very different image of itself on social media.
There are many many brands in Pakistan that have emerged and established a name only via Facebook.
Many of these brands don’t even have an offline presence but have been doing extremely well on Facebook and have actually established a sound loyal customer base for themselves.
